Much ado about nothing, from Shakespeare and Joss Whedon. I had no idea I’d like this so much! First of all, this is most of the old gang, from Firefly and Angel. As for Shakespeare, I had no idea it was so relevant! The dialogue is the Shakespearean one, but I don’t know if Joss changed it or not. Maybe he added a bit of his trademark wit. It is really funny and romantic. The backstory to this movie is also very interesting, it was all filmed in Whedon’s house, and the troupe would gather for improv and shakespeare at the little amphitheatre you see in the movie. Amy Acker is delightful as Beatrice, Alexis Denisoff is a rascal as Benedick and Nathan Fillion shakes the ground as Dogberry.
