Render: Pickle Break

Here’s an action shot of the character Pickle Pie taking a break from training and munching on a pickle. I’ve been meaning to get this series of pictures going for a few months now, but my 3D skills hadn’t been up to the level I wanted them to. I believe they are good enough now, so I’ll roll out characters, poses, goofy moments and other extra stuff to enhance the reading experience.

Getting the 3D model just the way I want it is the first big step, and it takes a lot of tweaking and trying out new models. But when it’s decided, it’s relatively easy to drop them in a scene and pose them in fun ways. I’ll fool around with these a lot more from now on.
