Is it ethical to clean up photos in this manner with AI?
The composition has been fixed. The other person removed from the photo.
It’s something we’re able to do with good photoshop skills for years now.
It’s a couple of attempts with AI tools to get it right.
I say it’s just fine.
Use the AI tools, improve composition. We’ve been doing photo manipulation for decades now.
The iconic photos you know of, even in black and white, are all manipulated. Sometimes just fixing contrast and brightness in the dark room, sometimes by setting them up in a studio.
The point is that AI is just another tool in your arsenal.
