Influencers are cooked.

Here’s actual, real data using AI:

In 2025 my project LoveIsBitcoin promoted BTCPrague. Here’s the link if you want to grab your ticket 10% off for 2027 by the way (coupon code LOVEISBITCOIN): https://loveisbitcoin.com/btcpragueticket

I actually went to BTCPrague myself twice and it’s really high quality event, loved it. Heck, I’d recommend it even without the ambassador deal. It was a much higher quality than the loud, obnoxious Bitcoin Conference in America, that’s for sure.

Let’s say in 2025 we managed to sell X tickets. That was with a full marketing push, active website, real employee lady promoting it as Libby, making videos etc.

This year I did it all with AI and an AI Influencer Libby. Same thing, no real marketing power behind it as I’ve wound down operations to bare essentials.

So what was the change in results? This is a case study, right?
In the end, we sold x-3 tickets in 2026? That was it. So a real influncer cost time to coordinate, lots of money, and now an AI influencer can do the same with a fraction of the cost and time consumed.

Heck, I didn’t even try to promote it much.

One might argue that without the real Libby to build upon the brand, the AI Libby wouldn’t have much effect. I would agree. But a larger business will just look at the results and run the numbers and fire the real influencers in a heartbeat.

So, if you’re a charismatic person working as a brand ambassador or influencer, what can you do to safeguard yourself against AI?

I’d suggest you focus on the real world. Pretty people had it easy for 2 decades with the internet. All you had to do was exist and people would throw money at you.

Now, anyone can be a pretty person online and we are much more talented, smarter and educated than you. It’s like giving us superpowers. You’re absolutely cooked.

So focus on what AI cannot touch, the real world. If you can fill a room with an audience, that’s real power. If you can show up to an event and 1000 people want to come see you with an excuse to get signed books or autographs or some other nonsense, focus on that.

You are cooked if you don’t cultivate those relationships with your fans. That’s the only thing the brands are gonna pay you for when they can just whip up an AI influencer to get 2 million followers that acts and talks better than you.
