When I wrote Nanodaemons years ago I was just writing funny and interesting sci-fi.
Extrapolating from the stuff I knew, sure. But real AI was still so far away.
I had no idea that today, 20th of August 2026 I’d actually be running Hermes bots by @NousResearch in a group chat to coordinate, giving tasks and personalities to each bot, making them all run locally on an open source LLM on my DGX Spark @NVIDIAAI
Seeing them coordinate as I give them tasks and figure out how to complete the project.
This is insane to realise.
If you told me back then that I’d be doing this myself at home with normal hardware, I’d never believe you.
