Creating and writing a romance book from scratch with AI.
Everything about it was made with AI help.
Research on chatgpt about the romance tropes, I gave it the task of helping me attract the right demographic for my other business that has aloe Vera products.
Chatgpt suggested a few plots, I chose one of them.
Edited the synopsis, corrected lots of things.
Asked it to write the story bible, we went back and forth many times with edits until I ended up with my final idea for all these books.
I asked chatgpt to generate the chapters and the scenes.
I edited and padded the scenes a bit more.
Then put everything in scene generation inside sudowrite, using Muse, their LLM model custom made for fiction https://georgesaoulidis.com/sudowrite
Muse is amazing with prose, and it can sort of handle long chapters but unfortunately it messed up some of the later chapters. At about chapter number 16-20 things got wonky.
So I had to generate those again, so now I’m left with two editions of the second half of the book.
Also muse misinterpreted some scenes and they either don’t connect well or they don’t make sense. For example it turned an online viewing of his tik tok into a zoom call for some reason.
So I went and deleted those.
I hate to have to manually sort them out.
Thankfully by pasting the story bible into Sudowrite it gets a lot of the things right.
So I was able to go and generate a single chapter again and it got it right this time.
Repeat this for the wonky chapters one by one.
And now I’m at the phase where I go read everything from the top, pausing to think if it makes sense, editing lines and scenes and details.
The cover was done straight out of chatgpt. I also made the aloe logo so I just added it with Photoshop. Going to use that logo for the entire Aloe Hearts series.
I could do custom text for the title but it’s good enough.
So now I’m cleaning up the text, adding scenes, fixing details. Hopefully I’ll end up with a 30k words romance book.
My plan is to make a few of these to attract the right audience. We planned it out with chatgpt and we’ll see how it goes.

For distribution, these are going all on Amazon KU.
Print books through Draft 2 Digital, that’s my setup now.
And digital audiobook from Audible plus any others that it might let me publish to, I need to check the rights and overlaps.
These are new things and I need to discuss with other indie authors.
In summary, no wasted money on editors, on cover designers.
Just work and AI and pure profit.
