Daisy Ridley is now set to star in the movie drama “The Lost Wife”. Robbie Brenner is producing “The Lost Wife,” based on the book by Alyson Richman. The story takes place in pre-war Prague, where Lenka, a talented art student, and Josef, her best friend’s older brother, fall madly in love — only to have their dreams shattered by the imminent Nazi invasion and the start of the Holocaust.

Ridley is currently filming the next installment in the “Star Wars” franchise. She recently signed on to star in the remake of the Israeli pic “Kolma” with “The Force Awakens” director J.J. Abrams producing and Marielle Heller directing.
While many of Daisy’s co-stars lined up projects once their attachment to “Star Wars” was announced, Ridley and her team held off until after the film bowed before choosing follow-up projects. Ridley quickly became in demand after “The Force Awakens” debuted, garnering praise for carrying the return of such an iconic franchise.
