This season of Doctor Who is very calm and quiet. A far cry from the Tennant days, ok, he was hyperactive, but even with Clara/Capaldi there was more nerve on screen. Matt Smith also had that physical energy, very animated. Now, Capaldi is calm, Bill is rather quiet and wide-eyed, it’s all so serene. Don’t get me wrong, I like it.
