This is a shader test for Midas Online. I was weary of actually going for it, since it’s easy to describe everything in a book as gold, but it’s quite another thing to make it work visually in a game. It’s already so shiny! The goldenscale has hues and textures of course, but Core doesn’t give me the fine control that Daz does. In Daz I can make many different golden textures and shades, Core has fewer options. So, less is more, if I’m going to do this game, it’ll be with some gold but with plenty of textures with colour left in.
Anyway, we’ll see, this is just a test for now.
